About Derek Huang
Derek Huang is an essayist and memoirist whose writing explores the Asian American experience in New England. His essay collection "Between Two Kitchens" won the PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award. Derek's work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and The New York Times. He teaches creative nonfiction at Emerson College and lives in Brookline with his family.
